Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a strong background in graduation regalia and commencement products. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of industry experience, established contacts in the K-12 and/or higher education markets, and a deep understanding of customer needs. This role is central to expanding our reach, building relationships, and delivering solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Build, grow, and manage a portfolio of accounts in the K-12 and higher education sectors.
- Sales Skills: Demonstrate proven sales or sales management experience with a consultative selling approach.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies targeting decision makers within educational institutions to increase market share.
- Market Growth: Prospect and develop new customer relationships to expand our presence in the regalia market.
- Relationship Building: Leverage existing contacts to drive new partnerships. Collaborate with school administrators, graduation coordinators, faculty, and students.
- Customer Insight: Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to deliver informed recommendations.
- Order Management: Oversee the sales process from product recommendations through fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor goals, track KPIs, and provide regular reporting to management.
- Travel: Occasional travel required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in regalia, commencement, or graduation product sales.
- Established contacts in the K-12 or higher education space.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding KPIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long lasting client relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude.
- Understanding of industry trends and market dynamics within education.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
