My daughter's Head Start teachers ordered shiny pink graduation caps and tassels to match the shiny pink gowns. When my daughter found out her cap and tassel would be pink, she was so excited! The cap fits her small head with ease, which makes me a happy mommy. The graduation year on her tassel is definitely going in her scrapbook.

Our school did a breast cancer awareness graduation so in a departure from our normal black we chose pink to celebrate and remember our stricken sisters. All of our young men and women wore pink K-12 and I am proud to report that everyone participated without incident or complaint. We were able to raise 15k for the Susan G. Komen foundation to honor the memory of our most trusted board member and theatre arts teacher. Mrs. McGriff you will be missed. Truly we all run for life.

The pink graduation gowns are beautiful for blossoming students. Go get them girls. Get the pink tassel AND the pink cap. They are different shades so it is not too much pink. (Posted on 11/15/11)
