The glued seams and elastic band help ensure a snug fit on any size head. What is processing?

This is a really lovely and good quality graduation cap. It's material is shiny and it was stretched over the top of the board with no buckling or ripples in the fabric. The button is fastened securely at the top and holds a tassel in place with ease. The elastic band keeps the cap and place perfect.
